Registered Yoga Teacher
With a background in dance, staying lean and flexible has always been important to me. My yoga journey began over 12 years ago in the midst of New York winter. I needed an escape from the brutal weather and that's when I attempted my first Bikram class.
It was neither pretty nor easy - truthfully, I almost fainted - but I stuck with it!
At the end of class I felt rejuvenated and wanted more. Before I knew it, I had committed to a 30-day challenge and was happy to follow through with daily yoga practice. A few years later, while training for a half marathon to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, I turned to vinyasa yoga to help me recover from a minor injury.
As a dedicated practitioner, I apply yoga principles off the mat to help mitigate daily stress, increase productivity and maintain a strong sense of purpose and well-being.
As a teacher, it is my goal to inspire others to find their own transformation, one breath at a time.
